Meet Yuting, our stellar Marketing Associate!
What were you doing before you came to Miles? What brought you here?
“I was and still am a student at UCLA. I was looking for marketing roles in the Bay Area and I encountered Miles’ job posting on AngelList. After some more research, I realized I was very enamored by the mission of the company and the work that it did. Thus, I actively pursued the role and ended up with this amazing startup.”
Tell us about your role at Miles. What do you do?
“As a Marketing Associate, I help with a lot of the content and social media execution in the company, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I also focus on identifying growth hacks to increase the company’s organic growth, including managing a new collaborative project with select student organizations to help Miles reach the student population in the Bay Area.”
What do you love most about working at Miles?
“I love the drive of the employees and the emphasis on employee wellness at Miles. Every person here is motivated and is truly invested in their work at Miles. They work fast and they work well, and that’s really inspiring to see. Miles also ensures that conditions are optimal for working, whether that means keeping a fully stocked kitchen or having company outings together. This consideration really makes it amazing to work at Miles.”

If you could only use one mode of transportation for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
“I would walk because I would be able to get good exercise while taking in the sights on my journey. It’s not all about the destination.”
